Is ESO map accurate? ›

The map is not lore accurate, this was even admitted to by the then-loremaster, Lawrence Schick, in an interview.

Developers noticed that the original minimap didn't stimulate players to explore the world. Many of the players were looking at the minimap and didn't pay enough attention to what's going around. They saw it in one of beta tests and decided to remove minimap from ESO and add compass instead.

I know it's not the real question you ask, but in eso enemies do not scale to you level at all. It's you scale to their level by stat boosts. And you progress by getting more passives, better skills and gear.

Morrowind Has The Smallest Elder Scrolls Map

Despite the overwhelming popularity of Morrowind among Elder Scrolls fans, it's surprisingly the smallest of the mainline Elder Scrolls games, measuring in at around just 16 square kilometers.
