The power ofsimulations, due to the new partnership with Oracle, has given the Red Bull team access to more data and better decision-making, both before and during a race.1. Creating billions of simulations over the weekend of what a real race might look like, feeding in the model various factors—how tires perform, pace of all the cars, how long it takes to make a pit stop, a good or bad race start—and model as many aspects of therace as possible. 2. Once the race starts, live simulations need to be executed to take instant decision based on different race scenarios. 3. Red Bull's simulations have the capability of constantly updating at every overtake, a finish of a lap, updating predictions and recommendations based on how the race is unfolding. 4. OCI enabled Red Bull Racing to run over a billion race strategy simulations, 25% faster, ensuring that they could best react to the changes happening on the track, the performance of the cars, and the actions of their competitors during the races. OCI lowered the latency and increased the volume and speed of the in-race simulations, giving the team better opportunities to react to live race events and increase their chances of winning.5. Outcomes as a Result - 39 of last 55 Grand Prix Won by Red Bull Racing. 2021 - 11 out of 22 F1 Grand Prix (50%) 2022 - 17 out of 22 F1 Grand Prix (77%) 2023* - 11 out of 11 Grand Prix (100%) - So far

We have seen McLaren Racing Formula 1 team announce in the last few days Airwallex and Dropbox as new partners. McLaren have Salesforce, Worforce, Smartsheet, Stratasys, Cisco, Splunk, Darktrace and of course Alphabet/Google on the partnership network 2024. The McLaren Racing list of Tech/IT (Telecom not included) partners is the longest in Formula 1 2024, and has been for a while. Zak Brown & McLaren have shown huge skills to convince American Tech-giants they need to be in Formula 1. February is the month for most of the New Partner Announcements. Last year 19 partnerships were announced in February, so we will probably see more Tech/IT joining Formula 1 2024. But to beat McLaren as the Tech/IT team in Formula 1 2024, that will be a difficult task! The picture show the percentage (%) Tech/IT of the partners 2024, so far. Note: Still Early Days.#mclarenracing #formula1

Focus on speed in software development will lead to short-cuts which increase the complexity of the software. The more short-cuts in your software, the higher the complexity will be and will slow down your development.#software #quality #whatissoftwarequality #speed #pace #shortcut #technicaldebt

Today, 2023-11-26, the last grand prix of the Formula-1 season will be driven. As we see in many F1 races, it is a tactical game in which the balance between speed and pace is making the difference. Focus on speed will not make you winning the race, that's why in Formula-1 people talk about 'race-pace', not about 'race-speed'!In software development it is the same, focus on speed will ultimately slow you down.Read more in: https://lnkd.in/e-VgxSPX #software #quality #whatissoftwarequality #formula1 #speed #pace

Did you know that during a single racing weekend, Formula 1 teams must analyze…💥1,000,000+ data points💥1.5 terabytes of data💥 And 1,000,000,000+ different racing simulations…if they want to beat the competition? And it’s the teams that best harness the power of data that win championships. So while racing cars may run on gas, the real fuel for Formula 1 success is data.
